Our Dear Boy

Our dearest kitty boy, Bastet, left us today around noon. He's been sick for quite some time, dealing with kidney stuff for the past year or so. His last few days were peaceful and quiet, even celebrating his 19th birthday just yesterday.

He's been with Chris since 1990, his constant companion, drinking buddy and all around best friend. You couldn't ask for a better cat. He was the greatest! So wise, and loving, and protective even.

We are truly sad, and yet at peace as we know he had a long and wonderful life, and is now dancing around with the likes of Trixie! What could be better?
