We lost our Alice. She was too ill and we had to help her go. So sad. She was stunning with her lovely huge body, her black and white feathers and her amazing outgoing personality. She was the queen and in charge of our flock. The day after she passed, there were no eggs laid and the girls do lay eggs every day. I found that very significant.
